Helicopter Spins Out of Control into Palm Fronds at Well-Known California Beach
An aircraft flying above a crowded coastal beach abruptly commenced twirling out of control, finally dropping height and plunging into a line of palm groves as beachgoers observed.
Footage shared online capture the helicopter starting to spin over Huntington Beach then descending towards the perimeter of the beach, where it becomes wedged between palms and a staircase adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.
Emergency Response Details
Emergency responders stated five individuals were transported to a medical facility involving two who were in the helicopter and were “rescued from the debris” after the accident on the weekend.
Three individuals on the pavement were injured. Details on their wounds were still under review.
